José Andrés Media

At José Andrés Media (JAM) we believe that a meal is never just a plate of food. It tells the story of who we are and where we’re going. And it has the power to change the world. We are storytellers exploring the ways that food connects us all: our shared food history and food future.

Our Emmy-winning, James Beard-winning, and NYT-bestselling work spans all types of media: from TV and streaming shows to social video, from books to newsletters to podcasts.

2025 is an exciting year for JAM, starting with José’s new book of stories and inspiration from his life called Change the Recipe: Because You Can’t Build A Better World Without Breaking Some Eggs. He’s also starring in an episode of Chef’s Table: Legends; and the co-host of a new cooking competition series on NBC called Yes, Chef with Martha Stewart.

José's Substack newsletter, Longer Tables, embraces a wide range of food stories, including José's personal tastes and culinary interests, food issues in the news, and subscriber-only recipes.

JAM produced José’s podcast Longer Tables, with guests ranging from Jacques Pépin and Alice Waters to Senator Cory Booker and Stacey Abrams. It also produced the James Beard-winning podcast Pressure Cooker with veteran journalists Jane Black and Liz Dunn.

José and JAM published the New York Times-bestselling Zaytinya cookbook with Ecco in 2024, featuring recipes from the beloved Eastern Mediterranean restaurant.

José starred in the Amazon Prime special Dinner Party Diaries, cooking alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, Bryan Cranston, and  O’Shea Jackson Jr., and in 2023, JAM won two Emmys for José Andrés and Family in Spain on Discovery+, featuring José and his daughters eating their way across his home country.
