Just a year and a half after José and his team brought wood-fired paellas and patatas bravas to Disney Springs, in Florida’s Walt Disney World Resort, they announced their next location for José’s take on traditional and modern Spanish tapas: Chicago. Slated to open next year, Jaleo Chicago will be the sixth in the series, and José’s first standalone restaurant in the Midwest. Its menu will include all of the Jaleo favorites – gambas al ajillo, croquetas, and pan con tomate – as well as some dishes and flavors that will be unique to Chicago. The restaurant will be in the River North neighborhood, a new Spanish culinary embassy from Chef José and team right in the heart of the city!
